Birreria German Pub (Sacile)

After our visit to ( Sorgente del Gargazzo (Polcenigo) )
We went and had dinner at a German Restaurant close to our house.
I can't believe that we haven't tried this Restaurant until now.
I wish we did.

We went right when it opened.
It was nice so we decided to eat outside of the restaurant.

Of course, Beer!

We ordered a platter that has Variety of meats for 2 person.
It was so amazing.
So delicious!

I highly recommend this restaurant if you are craving for German Food.

Sorgente del Gargazzo (Polcenigo)

Beautiful Saturday we decided to check out Sorgente del Gorgazzo in Polcenigo,
I heard a lot of people been there and loved it, I'm so glad we finally had the chance to see it.

A beautiful spring with the statue of Christ.
It was a relaxing area, there's a restaurant, cafe close to it.

There was some divers that explored the cave to see how deep the cave can go.
But, from researching about it they already stopped diving to see how far it can go
Because of the danger it may cause them.

The water was so blue just around the statue which I find really mysterious.

It was so good to see it.
I would definitely come back and maybe try the restaurant.

Ciao Ciao!

Bacon wrapped Jalapeno Chicken

Happy Tuesday Friends!
I finally had the chance to cook something Blog-worthy.

My husband is Jalapeno and Bacon obsessed and this meal is just perfect.
I've made few Bacon wrapped recipes and this is definitely a good one.
Especially with the Cream Sauce.

Optional, You can bake it in the oven for 350 for 15-20 minutes for additional goodness.
It makes the cream more thicker and if you want to make sure the chicken is thoroughly cooked
then baking it is the best.

Enjoy!!!

BACON WRAPPED CHICKEN WITH JALAPENO CREAM SAUCE

INGREDIENTS:

FOR THE CHICKEN:

  • 5 thin sliced boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • 10 pieces thick cut bacon
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
  • 3 Tablespoon butter
  • Cilantro for garnish (optional)

FOR THE JALAPENO CREAM SAUCE:

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 2 jalapenos
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 cup fresh grated parmesan cheese

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Wrap 2 pieces of uncooked bacon around each chicken breast, and season with garlic salt and pepper.
  2. Melt butter in a heavy skillet over medium high heat and add chicken.  Cook 5 minutes per side until bacon is crispy and chicken is cooked through.  Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. In a food processor or blender add: cream, milk, jalapeños, garlic, garlic salt, cayenne pepper, and pulse on high until combined.
  4. Pour into same skillet and cook over medium heat about 5 minutes, stirring often.  Add in parmesan cheese, and stir until melted and combined.
  5. Add the bacon wrapped chicken breast back to the skillet and garnish with cilantro and fresh cut jalapeños if desired.  Serve warm.

Enjoy!

Melk Abbey, Austria.

After visiting Vienna, we went to see Melk abbey.
Its about an hour drive from Vienna.
Not too far.

Melk abbey (Stiff Melk)
is a Benedictine abbey above the town of melk. Lower Austria.
One of the biggest and most beautiful Baroque ensembles.

I highly recommend visiting if you are in Austria.

We went inside to see and this is the only pictures I got.
Taking pictures inside is prohibited.
I had fun though!

We also went inside the Library probably one of the most beautiful, interesting room I've ever been to.

Outside is just the best view.

Goodbye Austria.
It was such a fun experience.

Vienna, Austria.

Ahh.. Vienna Austria.
One of those cities that I dreamed of visiting.
That day came.

It was such a beautiful Summer day.

Beautiful everywhere I look.

We did a walking tour to learn more about Vienna and it was really interesting.

After a long walk I finally decided to try one of the food vendors.
It was so good.

Then some beer. :)

After a long day we sat down and have lunch.
I love trying authentic food of the city we go to.
So I had to have  some Austrian Schnitzel.
Delicious!

After a long walking tour we head to our next Austria destination.

Aqualandia Italy

During Summer, Beach is my favorite destination.
But, I've been curious about this place that I've been hearing about.
So we went there to check it out.
Aqualandia is water park just an hour away from where we live, which was so nice.

The weather was good so it was a perfect day to go.

We went during the week.
It was still surprisingly pack but not as bad as I expected.

There is a lot of pools, slides.
Lots of fun stuff under the sun.

The line was a little bit long on slides so we only tried couple of it.
Not me, but my boys enjoyed it.

The water felt so amazing.

My boys having a blast.
The kiddie pool was a nice area.
There's slides safe for kids, but of course you have to come with them.

My boys loves being in the water so today was a blast.

Much needed relaxation.

The park is a good size.
A lot of umbrella you can rent.
It's so cool that you get to have a wrist band that they give to you when you enter.
You can leave your stuff in a locker by your umbrella with your wrist band.
Get food, drinks with it and at the end of the day you can pay for everything when you turn it back.
So cool huh?

Sandy part of the park.

I had to try some Churros.
It was okay.

It was such a fun relaxing day.

Ciao, Ciao
