Addio Italia

The day has come.

Today we leave Italy.

I'm not sure if we will be able to come back

Hopefully we can.

But for now,

See you later Italia.

Our friend came over to see us before we leave.
So happy to see them before we leave.

It was a sad goodbye.
But I know we will see them again.
..And I will forever cherish our memories in Italy.

Time for new adventures.

With what's going on with the world.
I'm sure everyone is aware of the pandemic.
Traveling is not normal anymore.
Mask on and keep your distance.
It did have some challenges for us.
But, you gotta do what you gotta do right?

My friend gave us some snack.
It saved me as I get hungry waiting.
...A lot of waiting

5 Luggages and a bunch of little bags for the kids and me.
Checking it in was a relief.
We only had to get it in Miami when we arrived in the US
Then check it back in.
It wasn't that hard.
Thank goodness my husband is with me with all of the traveling.
Traveling alone last year from the Philippines to Italy was definitely hard.
Never want to do that again.
Maybe when the kids are bigger I'll do it again.

If you're wondering what the meals on the plane looks like now..
There you have it.
It made me crave for something hot and fresh.
The meals before was good enough.
But this was a big no no.
But, when you're hungry you are going to eat whatever you can.
So definitely eat that hot meal before your flight
and bring your favorite snacks.

10 hour flight from Madrid, Spain to Miami.
The longest day of my life.
But, my kids was okay..
So I'm okay.
They slept pretty much the whole time.

Last Italian Dinner

Last Italian Dinner.
Last Italian meal.
I can't believe its here.
We have few days left.

Of course on our last time eating out we picked the first restaurant we ate at.
Remember the first time we went out in Italy to explore and had our first Italian meal experience?

Gosh, feels like yesterday.
Looking back and re reading my blogs gives me a nostalgic feeling.
I was talking about how I know I'm going to love it here.
..And I was right.
Vibes cannot lie.

..And here we are.
Talking about the last time.
I know I would be reading my Italy blogs one day and its going
to put a smile on my face on how amazing the time we had here.

Life is great guys.
Enjoy every minute.
Wherever you are, whoever you are with.

Anyways,
Today was a great day.
We had our usual in Spaghetti house (Ristorante San giorgio in Aviano)
We had our favorite meals we usually order  so we remember all of the flavors some more. haha!

Calamari Fritti

Chicken Alfredo.

Of course, eating dinner is better with friends!

Couldn't be more grateful to meet awesome friends here in Italy

Gonna miss these ladies so much.

No goodbyes But see you later.

On our packing day.
We decided to stay in so we can have everything ready for our travel day.
It's going to be a long day I had to make sure everything is perfect.

For our last Dinner.
We had Take out Italian pizza.
There's really nothing like Brick oven pizza guys.
Italian pizza is definitely the best.
I mean... I really can't compare.

Kebab pizza, kids pizza with fries and Capricciosa my favorite, for our last Italian pizza meal.
Every bite was amazing.

It's going to be a really long day.
Time to get as much as rest that we can.

Have a good day!
Ciao, Ciao!

Venice. One last time.

Ohhh Venice.
Here we are.
Last visit.
Every visit was magical and its more magical on the last time.

These are my favorite views in Venice.

Enjoyed the view with my loves for the last time.

So grateful to share this moments with my loves.

When it comes to drinking/eating spot.
We like to go to around Rialto bridge.
We went for drinks and snacks in the first restaurant we actually we've ever been to in Venice.
Of course,  I highly recommend this restaurant!

And the most perfect snack that time was Ice cream and fries!

Couldn't be more perfect.

How beautiful is this Umbrella I got in Venice?
I'm in love.

Will forever remember this view in my head.
Grazie Mille Venice for all of the amazing memories.
You made me believe that dreams can come true.

Addio.

Liber-tea (Bubble tea Conegliano)

What a rough, busy week it has been.
With all the moving, planning to do it feels good to meet the girls and
do something.
Just to enjoy the day and have fun.

One of our friend that love Bubble tea took us to her favorite place!
I love bubble tea so it won't say no to it!
We went to this restaurant in Conegliano.
About 30 minutes from Sacile over 30 minutes from Aviano.
So many flavors to choose from!

I highly suggest trying their snack/lunch options.
Of course do not skip on Takoyaki.
They also serve other Japanese snacks.

How awesome?

After the bubble tea we also stop by Sephora near by.

It was a fun day!
Hence of needing to wear the mask.
Stay safe friends!
xoxo

Trattoria Pizzeria Al Lido

1 week left in Italy.
So much more dinner/lunch plans with the girls.
I'm so happy they try to make time to hangout with us on our last days.

I've been wanting to go back to this restaurant.
And I've been wanting to have some good seafood meal.
So I asked the girls if they want to join us!
I'm so glad they did.

Seafood Spaghetti.

The Frito misto.
(Mix fried seafood)
Reminds me of Cinque terre.

Awesome dinner with great people!

So grateful for friends that appreciate what you love to do!

It was an awesome dinner with friends!
More awesome Italian dinner to eat before we leave!

Ciao,Ciao!
