Bothwell Lodge State Historic Site

After all the rain we got these past few weeks.

We finally got to enjoy the outdoors!

They weather still keeps on going back and forth temperature wise

which I hate. (oh well)

I'm just grateful we got to enjoy one day outside!

We went Hiking and Visited Bothwell Lodge.
It's located in Sedalia about 30 mins from Warrensburg.

I've gotten used to the amazing views in Europe.
It may not be as close but I love outdoors.
I will always find beauty everywhere.

The hike was not bad.
The boys did amazing.
There was some Steep hill but they did fine!

Good that it wasn't that hot yet.
There's some breeze but not too bad!

The hike was about 30 mins loop.
It did felt like we were lost, but were not.

We also visited the Bothwell lodge.
Unfortunately we didn't get to go inside and have a tour.
Maybe next time we'll plan ahead and make reservation.

It was pretty outside.

It was still a good place to visit!

I have been fascinated with history lately so this was so interesting.

It was a good day to be outside!

I hope you had a good weekend.

Chili Cheese Hot Dog Bake

Dinner that is so yummy and something that the boys would love too is
always our goal.
That doesn't usually happen.
..And thats okay.
If you are looking for a recipe that is perfect for the whole family,
You found it!

The Jalapeno might not be something that the kids would love.
But, the good thing about it is you can just take it off.
Hubby is dreaming about being able to put the Jalapenos with
the Chili but maybe next time.

This was such a good hit!
So so good.

Let me know what you guys think!

Chili Cheese Hot Dog Bake

Ingredients

  • 8 Hot Dogs , rinsed and patted dry
  • 8 Hot Dog Buns
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter , melted
  • 3 cloves garlic , minced
  • 15.5 ounces Chili (1 can or about 2 cups)
  • 1 cup grated Cheese

Weekend in Iowa.

School is officially over.

I'm so happy and so proud of my boys they finished a whole year without

any interruption like last year.

I feel like that the Virus is slowing down a bit..

Thank god to the vaccine.

Better days are coming.

Anyways,

Last weekend we visited the In-laws.

It's a nice weekend with Family even though Spring rains is in full swing!

It was still a great time.

The drive was better this time with a better weather.
Nothing much to see but it was still good.

We spend a few nights to see friends and go to a Graduation party.
It was a good time!

We also got to visit one of my favorite park.
The flowers are on full bloom!

..And new things they added.

The boys loved it.

So in-love with mother in-law's front yard.
So inspiring for me to work on mine!

The next day we drove home.
Good thing it was only a few hours drive.
Plenty time for us to relax the rest of the day.

Home Sweet Home. :)

Dinosaur Drive-thru

Few weekends ago we surprised the boys to a fun day to see
Dinosaurs!

It may not be real but it was pretty cool!

..And being able to stay in your car was just a plus!

They were so excited when we pulled in!

The tickets were $50 a car and I thought it was worth it.
Even me and my husband were pretty impressed.

All of the Dinosaurs you can ever think of.
The Audio was a plus too.
It's a must!

The boys had a blast.
Love seeing these smiles.

I highly recommend if its in your city!

Feeling Lucky!

You all probably know this already...
I don't cook all the these yummy food 100%

On weekends, me and Hubby cook together and whatever I make
during the week is nothing to what me and hubby make together.
Feels like we are such a good team in the kitchen!
There is some arguing of course because we cook differently but its fun because
we learn from each other!
Most of the time it's our bonding time.
..And we love it!

When I crave for something he make sure it happens, perfectly as I imagined.

How did I get so lucky?

Anyways, few weekends ago he made us
Homemade Pork Tenderloin Sandwich.
Like always he did not have measurements or specific recipe for this.
Maybe next time we make it I will write it down.

It was AMAZING!

Perfect for Vikings and Sunday Dinner.

What is your thoughts about this?
I thought it was okay...

Last weekend,
It was a rainy one.
I was craving for Steak, we couldn't grill
but hubby still made it happened.

He Pan-seared it in the Cast Iron Skillet.
Gordon Ramsay style. ;)

We made Brussels Sprout for Side.

It was so so good!!!

I like it when steak is cooked this way!
What's yours??

Protein Veggie Wrap

Made the yummiest, healthiest, easiest Veggie Wrap few days ago.
I saw the Protein wrap at Aldi so I couldn't help but give it a try.
Aldi has been my Go-to for Fresh produce lately and everything lasts a
long time than usual.
It saves so much money!

If you are trying to eat healthier  highly recommend this.

The easiest!

All you need

-Protein wrap
-Hummus
-Kale
-Tomatoes
-Cucumbers
-Avocado

Assemble it on that order from the list or as you prefer,
You can also add or not add some  from the recipe and I bet it
would still be good.

So so good!

Let me know what you guys think!
