Homemade Lasagna

I don't think I ever got a chance to share this recipe with you guys,
But this has got to be one of the best Lasagna I've ever had.

We make it more than I can count.

It's definitely a process but its worth it.

My Non alcoholic drink with Dinner!
Found this in a grocery in France,
So good!

Appetizer ideas for you for Lasagna.

I love them all!

Let me know what you guys think!!

LASAGNA

Ingredients

  • Lasagna noodles
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
  • 3 garlic cloves ( minced )
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 cups whole milk
  •  teaspoons kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  •  cups shredded parmesan cheese(divided)
  • 10 ounces frozen spinach thawed
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese(divided)
  • 15 ounces ricotta cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 cups cooked ground beef,  (seasoned with your favorite seasoning)

Directions

      • Preheat the oven to 350℉. Spray a 9x13 casserole pan with nonstick spray. Set aside.
      • Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package directions. When done, lay the noodles in a single layer on a plate, parchment paper, or wax paper so they can cool and so they won't stick together.

      • In a small pot, over medium heat, melt the butter and garlic. Once the butter is melted whisk in the flour and cook for 1 minute, while stirring constantly.

      • Slowly whisk in the milk and stir everything together to combine. Allow the sauce to cook until the sauce thickens. This takes about 4-5 minutes.

      • garlic powder, and 1 cup of the parmesan cheese. Turn the heat down to low and let the sauce simmer while you prepare the spinach.

      • Place the thawed frozen spinach onto a few sheets of paper towels, and squeeze out any excess liquid. Stir the spinach into the sauce and take the pot off the heat.

      • In a mixing bowl, stir together 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, ricotta cheese, and egg.

        Assemble the LASAGNA
        -  Spread 1 cup of the white sauce into the bottom of the casserole pan.- Add 3 sheets of lasagna noodles on top of the white sauce.Spread 1/3 of the ricotta mixture over top the noodles.-Layer 1/3 of the cooked ground beef over top the ricotta cheese.-Spread 1 cup of white sauce over the chicken.-Repeat those steps 2 more times. On the last layer, top the ground beef mixture with the remaining lasagna noodles and spread the remaining sauce over the top-Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup parmesan cheese and remaining 2 cups mozzarella cheese over top the final white sauce layer.-Bake for 45 minutes. When done, turn the oven to broil and broil the lasagna for 1-2 minutes or until the top is golden brown.

IT was so creamy,
So good!

Enjoy!

Superhero Birthday Party!

My not so baby is 4!!

Time definitely flew.

We threw him a simple Superhero Party.

It was a Snow Day,
So it was just us.
We like to do it this way,
Since he is our Winter Baby.

I still remember how Snowy it was when I had him.
It was so cold.
I'm just glad that he waited until after the New Year before he had his Birth Day!

We ordered the cake before the Weekend
So we were pretty much ready.
We were going to do the party Sunday,
But we had to cancel our plan for Saturday because of the Snow.
We didn't want to risk it and leave the house.
So we did the party Saturday!

So much fun decorating this.

..And this cupcakes!!

So cute!

I can't believe I'm almost done throwing this kids Party theme.

I'm going to make sure it's amazing every time!

New Year's Eve!

2026!

I can't believe it's here,
A new year!

Our 2nd New year here in Germany.
Our time here is definitely flying.
We are loving it and enjoying it as much as we can.

New year's eve,
We decided to stay at home like last year.
It is definitely the best idea.
You definitely don't need to go anywhere here on New Year's eve!

We added a little bit of extra stuff for our New year's eve table scape.
A little touch of Germany.

This was so cute!

For Drinks,
We had some delicious wine.
I love my Prosecco
But this sparkling wine that I found was so good.
A little hint of sweetness to it.

Our Appetizers included some Caviar,
For a change.
We focus on Seafood for New year's eve.

We ordered Sushi from our favorite Sushi place.
They never disappoint.
Always so fresh!

For Christmas Hubby got me a Fondue pan,
Which I originally wanted because I want it for this exact holiday.

Germans seems to like having it around this Holiday.

It was perfection.

For a little touch of Filipino roots.
I made some fruit salad for dessert.

We barely make it to dessert so I didn't make a lot of dessert.
Just this one.
My favorite.

It was an amazing New Year's Eve!!

I hope you all had a good one.

Christmas 2025

I can't believe this is our 2nd Christmas here in Germany.

Time definitely flew.

We kept our tradition this year and I loved it.

Did a new Table scape this year and added the advent candles and
I love it!

It's a good addition to my Table scape.

Made my favorite Christmas Aperol spritz.
I could literally drink Aperol spritz all year long!

Pancit Palabok has becoming a Christmas Tradition.
It's just so festive and I crave it this time of the year.
Recipe in the bottom!

My big boy had a Christmas Holiday Project to make German dessert
so we made it together.
Baking is something I like to do on my own.
Like a therapy,
But from time to time I let the boys join me.

This one turned out pretty good!!

I think he had a great time making it.

Another amazing Christmas.
I can't believe new year is going to be our last one.
