Surf and Turf

Surf and Turf dinner is absolutely one of my favorites.

If we could do it everyday I would pick it.

It's a perfect combination.

I just wish I could come up with recipes but hubby made all of this
And it was perfection.
The steak was grilled the shrimp was sauteed in a pan and the sauce was the bomb.
Hubby definitely did not follow any recipe or measurement.

Maybe one day I can ask him to make a recipe for it.
It was sooooo good!

Perfect dinner while watching Netflix.

Aperol Spritz Season

There is nothing more refreshing than Aperol Spritz on this Summer Hot days.

Even though I can drink spritz all year long,

Drinking it during Summer just gives me vibes and memories of being in Italy.

I am so glad I can still have it even though we are not there anymore.

It's even better because I have the best view.

So so grateful.

Have a great week!

Nilagang Baka

I have been remaking my favorite recipes these past few weeks.
I know it's not the best time to have soup since its really hot.
But, if you are filipino eating Soupy dish all year long is pretty normal.

This is so comforting add a bowl of rice and its more than perfect.

I got the freshest veggies at the store that made this very hearty.

Enjoy!

For the first time in a long time,
We got to celebrate Fourth of July at home together.
It has been usually Hubby is away for work,
Or we are traveling.

I made sure this year was extra special.

Our Fourth of July Table setting!
Finally got to do one this year.

I love getting themed cupcakes at Hy-vee!!

Hubby grilled some eat,
Not a lot since it was just us.

Cheers!

We for sure still made a lot of food just for us.
But, its okay.
I love leftovers!

Happy Hour (Fitter's Pub)

We had such an amazing long weekend!
So many things to celebrate,
It was a perfect weekend!

Hubby had his Promotion ceremony, Birthday, and it's 4th of July weekend!
I am so grateful we got to celebrate it together,
With Family!

On his Birthday we had a chance to go out for few drinks and celebrate.
We rarely do this
So it was so nice to have a kid-free time!
My in-laws were visiting!

We decided to try Fitter's Pub this time.
I'm glad we did.
We had a nice, relaxing time!

Started off with his favorite drink.
Long Island Iced tea!
It was so refreshing!

Then we had Appetizers.
We had Dinner plans with the Family so we just decided to have appetizers with our drinks.
I couldn't ask for anything better.

We watched all the games and there was a hotdog eating challenge on one of these tv's which was
so entertaining for me! haha!

When we were almost done we went outside so I can finish my drink.
It was a hot day but their fans were on!!
That was nice.

It was a great day with my love!

Highly recommend!
