Don't Give up...

At some point in the various journeys we embark on in our lives, we get to a part where we feel like giving up. Sometimes we give up before we even start and other times we give up just before we are about to make that huge break-through that we have been putting so much effort in to achieve.

Failure is always sad
Sometimes it will break your heart..
Makes you want to give up..
But..

We should never give up, Keep going.
Reasons to never give up:
As long as you are Alive, Anything is Possible
The only valid excuse you have to give up is if you are dead, As long as you are alive ( and healthy and free) you have the choice to keep trying until you finally succeed.
Be Realistic
The chance of mastering something the first time you do it is almost non- existent. Everything takes time to learn and you will make mistakes. Learn from them.
You are Strong
You are stronger than you think. One little setback is not enough to stop you from achieving your goals. Neither are 10 or 100 of 1000 setbacks.

Has it been done before?
If someone else can do it then so can you. Even if it is only one other person in the world that has achieved what you have set to achieve, that should be reason enough for you to never give up.

Your Family and Friends
Let the people you love and who mean the world to you be your inspiration to persist and persevere. Maybe you need to try different angle, study more or practice more but don't give up!
You deserve to be Happy
Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise. You deserve to be happy and you deserve to have success. Keep that mindset and never give up until you reach your destination.
Inspire others
Be an inspiration to others by refusing to give up. Who knows what someone else can achieve because you never gave up and in turn inspired them not to give up.
You are so Close.
Often when you feel like you want to give up and you are about to give up you are so close to making huge break through. Just a heartbeat away from success.

P.S. NEVER GIVE UP!

We can do this!!

Weekend Things: Baking day and Super Lunar Eclipse

My weekend was not as eventful when hubby is not working.
He had to work so I had to plan something to do without him.

So Saturday I decided to come over to my friends house.
It was raining all day.
Staying on bed and watching movie would have been a good idea too,
But its so good I decided to get out of the house.

Her husband loves to hunt so they have couple of these.
The first time I get to touch and get closer to these things and I find it amazing.

And these..
These are real fish!
You all probably have seen one of these already.

Anyways, Like most of the times we hangout together.
We baked.
And this is probably on the top of the best Desserts she made.
I picked it and Found the recipe here ( Oreo Chocolate Cheesecake Cake )
This is honestly really good.
So moist, It wasn't too rich in my opinion.
Cake and Cheesecake together is perfect.

Took this using my phone.
It was so good!

Sunday was such a lazy day for me.
We were suppose to go out for dinner, But I changed my mind and picked eating Pizza at
home instead.

Then, that night
I watched the Rare Super Lunar Eclipse.
I didn't get to watch when it became red because of the clouds.
But watching this is really awesome.

Seeing things like these  through your eyes is the best, Than seeing pictures somewhere.
It started at 8 and by 11 PM it was gone,

Totally worth staying up for.

I used my Nikon Camera, It works good as a Telescope too since I don't have one.
I zoomed it and I can see it perfectly.
Using a regular phone doesn't work. It just turns out really bright like this.

But Isn't so awesome how big it is?
Crazy!!!
I was so amazed.

Did you get to see it?

Let it go...

I have a love-hate relationship with autumn.
While I enjoy the gorgeous colors and the pumpkins and the leaves crunching under my feet and no longer stressing so much about a swimsuit-ready body, I’m always so sad to see my favorite season of summer go.
Everyone is all like, “Pumpkin Spice Lattes!” And I’m like, “Yeah, those are yummy, but…”
As an aside, has Starbucks changed their flavored coffee drinks this season or is it just me? A couple of weeks ago, I went to Starbucks and, with giddy anticipation, ordered my first Pumpkin Spice Latte of the season, even though I enjoyed it a lot, Especially thinking how expensive it is just for a coffee. I can't help but think about how fake is the flavors in it. I'll probably won't get from Starbucks again but It's okay to enjoy it at least once. I know there's tons of Pumpkin flavors at all grocery stores anyway!

Anyway, moving on…

I adore summer. As I’ve said before, I’m a summer girl. Flipflops, the beach, hot days and humid nights… these are a few of my favorite things!

And, every year, when autumn rolls around, I find myself feeling a little sad. Summer, the fun season, is passed. The days get shorter and shorter as fall brings us ever closer to the end of another year, and then, before we know it, the year is finished. Time and seasons march ever onward, and nothing can stay the same.

And, as the leaves fall off the trees, it feels like I’m losing something too. Something that I didn’t know I needed to hold on to until I had to let it go.

There’s a tree-lined street on the way to our home, and, in the autumn, the yellow and orange leaves will dance and float all around as you drive down the street. It’s gorgeous and enchanting and rather fairy-like. But, sometimes, as we drive down the road amid the falling leaves, I feel like saying to their trees, “No, no, no! Wait! You can’t let them fall yet. You need to hang on a little longer. You’re not ready to let go!”

I have a hard time with change. I have a hard time with letting go.

However, like the trees, sometimes, we have to stop hanging on to other stuff as well and just let go. And there’s beauty in this too.
To just let go…

Past hurts, past mistakes, the wouldas, the couldas, and the shouldas, the regrets and, yes, too even some of the good things… we have to let go.

We have to let go to keep living. We have to let go and embrace the change. We have to let go of the past to live fully in the present.

To just finally let it all go and watch it flutter and dance and fall in one last lovely burst of gorgeous color… and even allow ourselves to fully recognize the beauty and the glory of letting go.

Maybe after we let go, we do then stand dormant for a while, waiting and still and silent as winter, because that has to be a part of it too… the waiting, the stillness… But, while we’re waiting, we know, we trust, that spring will come rushing back one day with new blooms and new promises and new mercies and new life.

Letting go, stillness, newness… the glorious circle of life and of our seasons.
And we serve a God who is so wonderful and so amazing that even the trees of the field praise Him in every season. We serve a God who tells the trees when it’s time for them to let go.
And there’s always beauty in letting go.

Weekend Things: Last weekend of Summer.

Feels like days are going really fast, And because it's fast
you have to keep up too..

But, I like to try to do things that makes everything slower.
Like doing nothing at all..
Just sitting down and enjoying the time I have in front of me.

I was so sore Friday afternoon, But I'm glad I decided to do something that night.
Well, Hubby forced me..
I usually don't feel like doing anything on friday nights.

Anyways.. we went played BINGO
It was good! Of course, I didn't win. haha!

Saturday, We had a great day at the beach ( Atlantic Beach, North Carolina )

..Then had a seafood dinner ( Sammy's Seafood house and Oyster bar )

Later that night, we had friends over and had some few drinks.
It was great catching up with friends.

The next day, My plan changed so I just stay home with my boys.
For dinner we just had some fast food.
I had to do meal prep so I didn't feel like cooking all day.

I tried this Pulled pork cheese fries for the first time, It was so good!

I hope you are a having a good week!

Sammy's Seafood house and Oyster Bar

After staying a couple of hours at the beach.
We decided, well.. I'm the one of wanted it the most.

To have an awesome Seafood dinner.

I found this place on Yelp.
We thought about going to the first restaurant we went to
when we were here in Atlantic beach, But I like trying different places.

This place was okay, A little pricey.
But seafood is always pricey, Especially near the beach.

It might not be a good combination, We had oysters for appetizer.
I matched it with my margarita.
These oysters was so fresh!.

I had a seafood dinner,Stuffed shrimp with fries and coleslaw for sides.
Hubby had Scallops burger, I had a bite of it and it was okay.
Not the best dinner we had.
But the oysters was good.
I missed it.

What's your favorite seafood?

xo

Atlantic Beach, North Carolina

We finally went to the beach last weekend,
We have been planning it in forever.
Every time we go to the beach the weather was not good.
But, This weekend it was perfect.

The water felt good, It was sunny.
But the breeze makes it all better.

There's something about waves, sun.. The beach that makes everything perfect for me.

This drink was also perfect that time.
I had to hurry drinking it though, Since it gets warm easily.

It was also the last weekend of Summer.
This is definitely the best way to spend it.

How was yours?

New obsession, Sparkling waters.

When I first tried Sparkling water while we are on our vacation ( Roadtrip )
I got so obsessed that I always have it in the fridge.

I recommend this for somebody that is trying to quit Soda.
I have been trying to quit for a while, It's not like I'm addicted to soda.
I just want to not crave it at all.

This is so far my favorite flavors, One of the things I like about these sparkling waters
is there's a lot of flavors.
For somebody that loves anything fruity, This is the best!

This Raspberry tea flavors is perfect,
I mean, Sparkling iced tea sounds so good right?
..And it doesn't have any calories.

This the other brand I love, It's cheaper than the other one too.
My favorite flavor is watermelon and anything coconut.

There's a lot of brands out there, I'm excited to try them.

Is there any brand you recommend?
Let me know!

Weekend Things: Lots of Drinking.

This weekend was really eventful, I think I enjoyed it too much.
It's okay to have those kind of weekend sometimes right?

We woke up early Saturday, Perfect time to stop by at Starbucks and have my
first Pumpkin Spice latte of the season.
It was also my first pumpkin flavored coffee from Starbucks.
It was soooo good!

Later that day, We went to my friend's Birthday.

I love this Fruit decoration that her husband made.
I love fruits so all I'm thinking about is eat of it!

She cooked a lot of good Filipino dishes, I was so excited seeing all of this.

Caldereta

Pancit

Filipino-Style Spaghetti

Of course, I have to try a little bit of everything.
It was delicious!

We had some drinks, and some of her friends came over.
It was great to hangout with other Filipino's.

The next day, We went to visit our friend that just had their baby.
Hubby also planned to meet up with his other friend to watch Football.

The baby was so cute, reminds me of how small my baby boy was.
Feels like it was just yesterday.

Everybody brought food, Hubby made wings and I wanted some fruits so we picked up some
Fruit platter.

Like always, I had a little bit of everything.
so good!

We went home after the Panthers game.
They won, and that's good or else these guys are going to end the day pissed. haha!

When we got home, I decided to have a drink with these chips that we
saw at the store.
Lays have different flavors all the time.
This was so good!

I know drinking is bad for you, But having few sometimes won't hurt.

Hope you had a good weekend.
