Exploring Milan.

After checking in, Relaxing at the hotel. (Ciao Milan )

We are off to explore.

Walking on a summer day is probably not a good idea but I'm glad its 

not scorching hot.

 Milan is such a beautiful city.

Walking around is not boring at all.

We could drive but I told hubby that we should walk.

So many things to see when you walk.

I find these cable cars so interesting.

So many churches everywhere.

Palazzo Mezzanotte.

Also knows as Palazzo delle Borse.

Italian Stock exchange.

I find this sculpture so interesting.

Maybe they are giving the finger to the money managers?

But, its worth to see.

After walking some more.

We made it to the Milan Piazza.

The busiest part of Milan.

Lots of shopping places, Restaurants, street performers too.

This mall is definitely a must go when you are in Milan.

I can't believe that this is one of the oldest mall.

So beautiful to walk in. 

Lots of luxury shopping places.

Just beside the mall is the Duomo.

Probably the most beautiful Church I've ever seen in my life.

The details of the hotel is just amazing.

We had to go back the next day because it was really really busy to take pictures.

I love pictures but I like to find a perfect time for it.

We went inside too and I'm so glad we did.

It's just really amazing.

To get inside, you need to get a ticket that cost 3 euro for adult.

Free for kids.

I'm impressed that there was no line compare to when we went to Rome.

The security was strict.

As expected you have to wear a proper clothes to get in any church here in Milan.

Covered shoulders, no short dresses and skirt/shorts.

We had a great time seeing the Cathedral.

So blessed to be able to come here. 

Later that day, we explored some more.

Castello Sforzesco.

A huge,beautiful castle that you can walk around and where you can find other 

interesting museums.

It's really pretty.

There's places to relax and just good to see over all.

You will see this by the other end of the castle.

By the Parco Simpione.

Get ready to walk before you get to this part.

The walk was definitely worth it.

I loved every minute in Milan.

I want to go back again soon.

I have been so excited to see Milan.

It's like a dream come true!

We had to go there for a reason but I'm so grateful to have a chance to 

see Milan through my eyes.

The drive to Milan was not that bad. 

It was about 4 hours with stops from where we live.

Some Road trip snacks.

We got to Milan by lunch.

Okay, The parking in Milan is a little challenging and drivers was a little crazy.

But, you know it's just like any other city.

Out hotel is called Hotel Sanpi Milano.

After reading a lot of reviews on Trip Advisor.

We decided to give it a try and we are so impressed.

It was spacious, Comfortable. the staff are so friendly.

There was a little problem with the heater but they fixed it right away.

You pretty much have everything you need in the room.

 ..And their cute garden.

It was gorgeous!

Look how beautiful it is at night!

The hotel provides free breakfast.

I love buffet breakfast.

Variety is my thing I can try stuff I haven't tried.

Their pastry selection was so good too.

The croissant is my favorite!

There is staff that can make you Capuccino.

They were really nice.

I highly recommend this hotel if you need place to stay in Milan.

I will definitely come back.

..And we are off to explore!

Chrome Dome

It has been so hot here in Italy these days.

Summer is in full effect.

But, that's not going to stop me from exploring.

We decided to check out Chrome Dome in Aviano.

People call it Chrome Dome but its called 

Santuario Diocesano Madonna Del Monte.

Every time we drive through mountain highway we always see this church on the top and 

I've been wondering how it is up there.

..And it's gorgeous!

There were so many beautiful flowers around it.

The church was open when we went.

I'm not sure if they are open all the time.

But, I heard there's a mass some days. 

Inside the church.

Quick prayer and we explored more outside.

It took us at least 40-45 minutes walking around the church.

There is hiking trail too.

If it wasn't too hot I would do it.

Maybe this fall?!

Such a beautiful church so glad we went to check it out.

Lago di Barcis (Italy)

This week was short.

..And I loved it. 

A really eventful week. 

 I started the day early today and did cardio first.

Then we went to the mall for some food shopping!

 So many cheeses to choose from!

We had this delicious cheese platter and I made some Tortellini with sausage. 

So good.

Oh, and wine.

Old Wild West Burger and Steakhouse (Italy)

This month marks our 8th Month in Italy.

It's crazy how time is flying.

It's still been surreal being here. 

So grateful to meet awesome people, See amazing places. 

I'm already starting to miss American foods though.

So, we decided to try the American style restaurant near.

I was so excited to try it.

They got a lot of stuff on their menu. 

Of course!

Beer!

We had some Appetizers and it was so good.

It has mozarella sticks, wings, onion rings and one other stuff I forgot.

I had a burger called French Burger, I know It was craving for some American burger

why did I ordered a French burger. haha!

It just sounded really good so that's what I ordered.  

It didn't disappoint though.

It was really good!

I highly recommend this place.
