So beautiful!

Cochem, Germany

 

Ever since being back here in Germany,

I know there is so many places we missed when we first live here in Europe.

But this one, 

Cochem 

This is definitely a destination you should make.

The drive to Cochem was amazing.

The drive through the Mosel was so Beautiful

You already can tell how Beautiful it is here.

The Castle?!

Do not skip it.

It was one of the most Beautiful Castle I've ever seen!

The view from the top was just incredible.

Every angle was so Beautiful!!

To get inside.

You buy the tickets by the entrance

You come in with a guide with a specific time.

It was nice because you get to know history about the Castle.

This dining area was definitely my favorite.

There was a balcony that just have the most Breathtaking view.

The tour was about 45 minutes.

Worth every second.

I loved it so much!!

After the Castle we walked to the city center

which is not that far. 

It was definitely a down hill 

So definitely wear a walking shoes.

We stopped for some Gelato of course!

And walked some more.

We walked by the water and enjoy the view.

We found this Weingarten and I'm so glad it wasn't that busy.

We got the nicest spot to hangout

There's a mini playground of course!

I had some white wine.

Perfect for this view!

The vibe was so good!

We ordered a Snack platter and fries.

It was so nice!

..And oh so good too!

It was just the perfect snack with wine.

What an amazing day in Cochem!

Kusel Autumn Festival

 

We went to see Kusel's Autumn Festival!

Kusel is a short drive from where we live so we couldn't miss.

The parade started right when we got there.

They threw candies to kids!

It was kind of fun to watch it for a little bit.

After passing the Parade we went to one of the Gelato places.

This was Yogurt flavor and Pistachio,

SO good!!

Yummmm!!

The parade was long and It was getting crowded so 

We decided to hangout to one of the Biergarten,

Everyone was enjoying the parade so the Biergarten was

not busy at all!

My First Rose Schorle.

I have never heard of this before!

I guess its a big thing here for Wine Festivals.

It's a Rose Wine with Sparkling water.

My husband who is not a wine drinker 

thought that this was actually good.

He could actually enjoy drinking it.

It was so refreshing!!

Then we shared a plate of  German Fair Food.

It was a fun weekend!!

I love my variety of Charcuterie Boards

I can't explain how fun it is to make these!

We all grilled the meat and sautee the veggies.

Limoncello Prosecco Ice Cream Floats

 

I love Prosecco so much I want to drink it in so many ways.

I was craving for a float so I did it with my favorite!

INGREDIENTS

• Lemoncello
• Vanilla Ice Cream
• Prosecco

DIRECTIONS

1. Add 1 Big scoop of vanilla ice cream to each of your glasses
2. Divide & pour your limoncello over your ice cream and fill your glasses the rest of the way with your Prosecco
3. Optional: Garnish each glass with a slice of lemon
4. Serve with a stew & spoons & enjoy!

So refreshing!!!

Jalapeno Corn Dip

 

I love a good creamy, mildly spiced dip.

Hubby loves Jalapeno,

We made it not too spicy so the boys loved it too!!

Ingredients

• 3 bacon strips, cooked crispy 
• 3 tablespoons butter
• 4 sweet corn ears
• 3 cloves garlic
• 3 green onions, sliced green and white parts separated
• seasoning salt to taste, about 1/2 tsp
• 1/2 tsp cracked pepper
• 1/2 tsp paprika
• 1/2 tsp chili powder
• 1 tsp sugar
• 1/4 cup nacho jalapeños also called pickled jalapeños
• 1/4 cup spicy mayo regular mayo can be used instead
• 6 oz cream cheese, softened 
• 1/3 cup half & half
• 1.5 cups mozzarella and medium cheddar, shredded I use a combination of both
• Topping: hot sauce, fresh parsley and thinly sliced fresh jalapenos. 
• Serve with: tortilla chips, carrot stick, cucumber rounds, etc. 

Instructions

• In a skillet over medium heat, add butter and saute green onions (white parts) and garlic until they are fragrant. Add the pickled jalapenos and corn, followed by all of the seasonings. Mix well to combine.
• Reduce heat to medium low. To the corn add softened cream cheese and allow it to melt, about 3-4 minutes. Add the mayo and incorporate both into the corn mixture.
• Add half and half, then the cheeses, stirring them until melted. Top it with fresh jalapeño slices and hot sauce. Enjoy!

Homburg, Germany

We love exploring here in Germany,

I can't believe how close is this one for us.

We mainly wanted to check out the caves.

But of course explore more of the city.

It was so beautiful!

It was a perfect summer day.

The cave was so cool.

Definitely worth visiting!

It was so cold there

Perfect on a hot day!

After the cave we went for a walk downtown.

It was so alive with weekend markets and events.

There was mini concert happening and a farmers market.

We decided to sit down and have snack and drinks.

This Gelato was so good!

I found this one very interesting.

A purple artichokes?

So many of them buying it and apparently it's not to eat.

But it's like a flower boquet.

After having snack we went to the park to let the kids play.

This park was so interesting 

It has many statues of wonders of the world.

It was very interesting.

We had an amazing day!!
