Hot Cocoa Pancakes

 

I love a good Pancakes that may be a little sweet.

But something fun that the whole family loves.

I think this is perfect to enjoy during the Holidays.

Ingredients

• 1 cup flour
• 2 packets hot chocolate mix
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• ½ teaspoon baking soda
• ¼ teaspoon salt
• 1 egg
• 1 ¼ cups milk
• 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
• ½ cup mini chocolate chips
• Mini marshmallows, whipped cream, (optional) and chocolate syrup for garnish (optional)

Instructions

1. Preheat skillet or griddle.
2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, hot chocolate mix, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
3. Add the egg, milk and vegetable oil.Whisk until just combined.
4. Fold in the chocolate chips.
5. Grease skillet or griddle with nonstick cooking spray or butter and pour batter onto hot surface. Cook until the pancake begins to bubble, then flip to cook the other side. Continue until all batter has been used.
6. Serve with chocolate syrup, mini marshmallows, whipped cream, (optional)

Serve with a glass of milk
