Surf and Turf Dinner (Valentine's Day)

 

Our first Valentine's in Germany was amazing.

Like always!



We love making Special dinner at home.
So much better than going out,
Take some work but its so worth it!!!

We made these really good Appetizers
Something we have never try making before!
And it was really good!!




Sausage Bites


INGREDIENTS

  • 2 pastry sheets
  • 2 12 oz kielbasa or smoked sausages
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 4 oz cream cheese



Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F and lightly grease a large baking sheet.
  2. Cook Sausage according to your preference
  3. Unroll Pastry sheet ,On the first sheet, sprinkle shredded cheese then place 1 sausage at the long edge of the rectangle.Roll tightly and pinch the final seam to secure dough.
  4. Repeat step 2 and 3 with the second sheet, but spread cream cheese on half the sheet inplace of shredded cheese.
  5. Using a sharp knife, slice the rolls into ¾ inch rounds and place on baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until the dough is crispy and golden.
  7. Serve warm with ketchup, mustard, or condiment of your choice.



The perfect Valentine's Dinner!!





It was craving for a sauce for Steaks in this just perfect!

make sure you serve it right away, if you want to pre make it 
you can add more cream to thin it out!


Creamy Mushroom Sauce

Ingredients 




Instructions



  • Heat the butter in a large skillet over medium high heat.
  • Add the mushrooms and season them with salt and pepper.
  • Cook the mushrooms until the juices from the mushrooms are released and they are browned.
  • Add the garlic and Italian seasoning and heat for 1 minute until the garlic is fragrant.
  • Reduce the heat to medium, add in the white wine, deglaze the bottom of the pan and cook for approximately 1 minute until the mixture boils slightly.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the heavy whipping cream and cornstarch.
  • Stir this mixture into the saucepan and cook for 3-5 minutes or until the sauce has thickened.
  • Top the sauce with the fresh parsley and Serve.
