Blueberry-Banana Smoothie

Hi everyone!
I hope you all had a great week and ready for the weekend!
It has been almost a week since we got back from vacation.

I'm still trying to get back my energy for working out,
It's really good to get a break sometimes, but It's also hard to get back
Haven't been feeling motivated, I feel so stiff, I feel so sore all the time.

(We just got back.. We just got back.. Don't stress about it.)
The words I keep telling myself.

But, I'm ready to start over again. and I'm not giving up.

Anyways, On a good note.
I've been feeling good with my eating.
It's hard to explain but I'm just glad that I don't feel hungry all the time anymore.

For breakfast today I made this delicious smoothie.
It's a little bit different with other smoothies I made before.
I used coconut water instead of water.
I used just honey, I usually add a little big of stevia sometimes. But I tried not to add that today.
..And added more frozen bananas for thickness.
It was so good and filling!

Blueberry-Banana Smoothie

Ingredients:

3 Frozen Bananas
1/4 Cup Greek yogurt
2 Tbsp Honey
1 Cup frozen blueberries
1 Cup coconut water.

Directions:

Toss everything in the blender and blend until smooth.

Yum!

Going home!

It was an amazing vacation.
I'm sad but also excited to come home.

We left Iowa early morning.
It was 2 days travel to North Carolina, 19 hours drive.
I'm so glad the weather is perfect this time.
No rain, and it was so nice out.

I found this awesome Filipino store in Iowa which I found
a lot of filipino stuff, So I got so many Filipino snacks for the trip.

After driving all day we decided to start to look for places to stay.
We didn't get to find one til like 10 pm though.

It was getting so dark and the closest hotel we found was in West Virginia.

The hotel was so nice,
We got settled in at 11 pm.

We didn't have a lot of choice so we just got food from fast food.
It was too late for me to have a greasy burger so I ordered this salad.
I didn't like the blue cheese, So I skipped it.
Other than that it was good.

The next day before we got ready to leave me and little man went for a walk around the hotel.
They have nice swimming pool I just don't like that you need codes other than your hotel key
to go to rooms.
I didn't know the codes. So I just went back to the room.

I almost thought about staying longer, But I was so ready to go home too.

So we just had a little breakfast then head out.

There's something about bridges that i love love so much.

They look so much cooler in person.

Quick stop to get some fresh air.
Then by 3 pm we got home.

This is definitely one of the best vacation.
I'm so grateful.

Indianola County Fair.

We only had one day left til' we leave and go back home, I felt so sad and also ready
to go home and go back to my routine.

We didn't waste our last day in Iowa, I'm so glad that the fair started.
I love love fair, One of the things i love about it is food! Yup!

I have been wanting to try this, I know it's not good for you.
But it's good to try at least once, I've tried Funnel cake for the first time before so today
I tried Fried Twinkies, Hubby had Fried snickers.
This Fried Twinkie was really really good, I had a bite what hubby had and I thought
it was too sweet.
(Mission accomplished!)
We also had pulled pork sandwich and it was really good too!

I love how much animals they had at this fair, Compare it to the ones i went to in North Carolina.
Of course, It's Iowa what should I expect right?
There's a lot of beautiful horses and the sheeps are cute!

..And some of these awesome handmade crafts that they sell there..

Little man tried Pony riding for the first time and he loved it!
I never thought he would stay there or even get on it.
I love being to witness his "Firsts"

It was so cute when they gave him this badge, So so cute!

After that I had Rootbeer float and walk a little bit more.
We had to leave to get ready for our dinner tonight.
It was a great last day in Iowa.
I can't wait for our next visit here again.

Made it back in Iowa and Iowa Cubs game.

I had a blast in South Dakota, It was really really fun.
It was great to see family too.
We did our 14 hours drive back to Iowa, It was so much better than our trip going there.

I'm in love with these windmills. They are a bunch of them on this side.

We had a full day of relaxing when we got back.
I was so glad to have a chance to go to the gym, get our stuff ready for our trip back to North Carolina and relax.

Before going to the Iowa cubs game, We went to B-Bop's for lunch.
Hubby kept telling me about this a long time ago.
He was right this joint is really good.
Their burger is definitely greasy but It's worth it.

It was definitely hot the time of the game.
I had to leave sometimes so little one won't get burned.
But it was really fun!

Iowa cubs lost but they did so good.
Would definitely watch them again.

Bear Country U.S.A.

Before the day end, We went to Bear Country.

It was a drive through park, So it was perfect since we did a lot of walking that day.

Little man was so tired so he was asleep the whole time.
But It's good that he took a nap so he have a little bit of energy for later.

It was my first time going to a park like this.
So i find it really awesome seeing these animals just walking in front of people's vehicles.

..And my favorite, Bears!!!
They were so cute!!!

So so cute!!

Some bulls.

After that, We went to the side of the park where the baby animals are.
Which little man enjoyed.

I'm not a beer person, But this was definitely the most refreshing drink ever that time.
