Fourth of July 2023

 

For the first time in a long time,

We got to celebrate Fourth of July at home together.

It has been usually Hubby is away for work,

Or we are traveling.

I made sure this year was extra special.

Our Fourth of July Table setting!

Finally got to do one this year.

I love it!

Cupcakes!

I love getting themed cupcakes at Hy-vee!!

Hubby grilled some eat,

Not a lot since it was just us.

Cheers!

We for sure still made a lot of food just for us.

But, its okay.

I love leftovers!

This Pasta Salad,

that we have been making for few times now,

I will post recipe soon!

The meats that Hubby grilled was perfection.

The BBQ beans that we make every Holiday!

Potato Casserole that I learned from Mother in-law.

It was so good and easy to make!

It was an amazing Dinner!

So grateful!

Happy Hour (Fitter's Pub)

 

We had such an amazing long weekend!

So many things to celebrate,

It was a perfect weekend!

Hubby had his Promotion ceremony, Birthday, and it's 4th of July weekend!

I am so grateful we got to celebrate it together,

With Family!

On his Birthday we had a chance to go out for few drinks and celebrate.

We rarely do this

So it was so nice to have a kid-free time!

My in-laws were visiting!

We decided to try Fitter's Pub this time. 

I'm glad we did.

We had a nice, relaxing time!

Started off with his favorite drink.

Long Island Iced tea!

It was so refreshing!

Then we had Appetizers.

We had Dinner plans with the Family so we just decided to have appetizers with our drinks.

I couldn't ask for anything better.

We watched all the games and there was a hotdog eating challenge on one of these tv's which was

so entertaining for me! haha!

When we were almost done we went outside so I can finish my drink.

It was a hot day but their fans were on!!

That was nice.

It was a great day with my love!

Dave & Buster's KC

My big boy is 11!

For this year we decided to do something different than we usually do.

We usually just throw him a party,

This year we decided to bring him to Dave & Busters.

It was a blast.

Drinks and Dinner first!

This was okay.

Not the best one I had but I had to try!

Appetizer was so good though!

The sauce was so good!

The Birthday Boy!

We had Burgers and it was all amazing!

Hubby had Philly Cheesesteak.

I had a bite and it was so good too!!

After Dinner we headed to play games.

We were there for a few hours and 

The boys had a blast!!!

I did too.

Highly recommend going here for something fun.

Birthday or not!

Cajun Cuisine

Feels like its been a while since we went to eat out at ( Zydecos )

I love love their food and its just different when you eat out sometimes!

Started off with some Beer and Appetizers!

We tried Fried Oysters this time and I wanted a side of Hush puppies.

Soooo GOOD!!

Hubby had some Pork tenderloin Sandwich and I had some Creole Pasta.

First time having this.

The flavor was definitely on point.

Just one thing I can say is that I'm not really a fan of Chicken Breasts.

...And thats what they used with it and I can absolutely tell.

But other than that it was good!

When we got home.

It was dessert and chill time!

BURG FEST (Warrensburg MO)

Warrensburg Fest!!

Every year they held a Festival around FALL

Last year we didn't get to go.

This year we made sure to check it out!

It was actually nice.

Car Show, Food, Fun things for the kids, Vendors and probably many more things

that I missed.

It was nice!

Live music.

The weather was perfect too!

Of course, 

We had to have some Funnel Cakes.

Sooo Good!

Georgia Boys BBQ (Greeley, Colorado)

We spent a couple of nights in Colorado.

It was such a great time!

On our last night after going to the Rocky Mountain park.

We went out to eat.

Something easy and nice.

It was a long weekend so its a busy one,

So we decided to just head back to Greeley and have dinner there.

 

We went to Georgia Boys BBQ

It has a really nice and friendly atmosphere.

Especially us coming in as a big group.

We had Pickle fries, Pork Belly and Onion straw basket for Appetizer!

This Pork Belly was so amazing!!

For my main dish.

I had their Barnyard Plate.

It pretty much has a little bit of everything to it.

..And I enjoyed it so much!

I definitely recommend.

It was a great night with Family!
