Going Away Lunch

Me and hubby went to his Going away lunch with his co workers.
It was nice that Mother in law was in town so we didn't need to bring the Boys.

Sometimes on event like this that they wouldn't really know whats going on
We rather keep them home.

We went to Players Restaurant in Warrensburg.
I would say this was our 3rd time coming here,
And if I had a choice we would have come more.

We love it there!
They have some many options in their Menu
And drinks are good!!

Started off with Calamari!

8/10!!

We planned on getting their Greek Food,
It's just so nice that they have it there.

Hubby had it in pita bread.

..And I had the meal!

I love it!!
10/10
Amazing

It was served with Pita Bread too,
So you can make a bite like this.

I highly recommend guys!

Look at how cool is this.
It makes me so emotional how I am part of it.

We are so excited for Germany!!!

Let's goooo!!!!!

See you later, Love.

Last day we are seeing our home.

I am hoping we are able to come back,
At this moment it's still ours and that makes me happy even just a little.

Going to miss this view.

Thank you for all of the amazing memories.

See you later.

=(

Sweets are a must when you are stressed.

The day has come!
Packing day.

I don't know this feels so stressful when we are not the one who will pack our stuff.
But,
maybe because all we can do is watch and wait makes it more stressful.

So sweet treats are a must!

My last Boba =(

YASSSS

It's actually more for the packers.

I couldn't watch any longer
So I decided to go for a run.

It was good!

See you in Germany!!!!

Last Missouri Summer

Ahhh...
Last Summer in Missouri.
At least for a couple of years.

I still can't believe we are going to couple of Summers in Europe.
I didn't think we would be able to go back...

It's bittersweet because I love it here and I'm definitely going to miss it.

But, I am so excited for the future!!!!

One thing I love living in our neighborhood is having our own pool.
Shared with the neighborhood, yes.
But, the option of not going when we see that its full is just amazing.

We can go whenever we want.

Before the packing starts we spent our weekend just chillin and going to the pool

It is definitely HOT!

So relaxing!

The Boys had such a great time!!

Till next time.

Frozen Yogurt (Twisted Tango, Sedalia Missouri)

Getting a Froyo with the boys has been one of the fun things,
They love it and I love it sooo much!

Gelato is so good But Froyo is so different,
Also good!

Getting a cup and filling it up with whatever how much ever you want is just a fun thing to do!!

We love trying, having a bite of each of our cup is just fun.
It's like showing our personality in cup!!

Feels like this is how I make mine.

We drove to Sedalia Missouri to go to this Amazing Yogurt place.
Too sad Warrensburg didn't have any Froyo place,
I think they closed down right when we got there.

This is a 30 minute drive from Base and its always so worth it.

I love their new flavors!!

Yum!!!

It was a great treat!!

Have a good weekend!!

Chipotle (Warrensburg)

One Month left in Missouri, or to say...
Last Month in the US for a while....

So of course, It's time to eat all of the good foodies before we leave.

This is definitely in the list.

Look how yummy this looks,
I adore people on tiktoks eating full bowls with sauce and everything.
But this..
It looks perfect for me.

Of course,
I will add extra to our meal.
Chips and Dips.

Our favorite Rotel dip.

Hubby's Burrito.
How good does that look??

Perfect every bite!

What's your favorite from Chipotle???

Pancit Palabok

I have been wanting to make this for a long time.
I always thought it's hard to make.
It's not!

Ingredients:
  • 1 lb rice noodles (bihon)
For the Sauce:
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • ½ lb ground pork
  • 1 Tbsp anatto powder or 1 Tbsp annatto seeds soaked in 3 Tbsp water
  • 2 cups pork broth
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 Tbsp cornstarch dissolved in ¼ cup water
  • 2 Tbsp fish sauce
  • salt and pepper
For the Toppings:
  • ½ lb shrimps, peeled and sauteed in oil just until it turns pink (reserve heads and peels for juice)
  • ½ cup tinapa (smoked fish) flakes
  • ½ cup ground chicharon
  • 1 cup boiled pork, thinly sliced and sauteed in oil until golden brown
  • 3 hard boiled eggs, sliced
  • 3 stalks green onions, finely chopped
  • sliced lemon to sprinkle on top (optional)

Directions:

1. Soak noodles in cold water for 20 minutes or until they soften a bit. Cook in a pot of boiling water until tender but still firm. Drain well and set aside.
2. In a saucepan over medium heat, sauté garlic in olive oil until light brown. Add ground pork and cook for about 10 minutes.
3. Mix the annatto powder in pork broth then pour the mixture into the saucepan. Bring to a boil. Add the water. Stir and simmer for about 3 minutes. Add dissolved cornstarch and fish sauce. Season with salt and pepper to suit your taste. Simmer until sauce thickens. Set aside.
4. Place the noodles on a serving plate. Pour sauce on top of the noodles then arrange the toppings over the sauce. Serve with a slice of lemon for added flavor!

So goood!!!!

It was grilling day too,

This is not in hubby's favorite lists so it's just a side for us.

Cheers!

How pretty is this wine glass???

It was a beautiful day!

Surf and Turf!

So perfect!

Love nights like this,
And we will always do it
wherever we are.
