Adventureland (IOWA)

 

Our fun weekend in Iowa continues 

with a fun day in Adventureland.

It was a hot day but I'm happy it was cloudy for some time.

I have never been here and Hubby wanted to take the boys for a while now.

It was a fun day!!!

The tickets were not too bad!

And it wasn't as crowded as I expected it to be.

I highly recommend going right when they open.

This was a perfect late Birthday fun trip for the two.

The view was nice!

We stopped by at the arcade before leaving.

It was a great day!!

Iowa Cubs Game.

I can't believe thats its been 8 years since we watched Iowa cubs game. 

I love going to the game whenever we can.

This time was a blast because the boys was with us and they were such good boys!

Beer first!

The weather was nice!

It was hot but hubby got the perfect seats!

They won!

It was a great game!

We had a great time.

Giordano's Chicago Style Pizza (IOWA)

 

Wow!

Giordano's,

 After all the traveling we did,

I'm telling ya, Chicago's Pizza is still on one of the BEST list.

Last time we had it was almost 8 years ago!

Chicago 2015

It was one of the best trip.

Hopefully one day we get to come back!

Anyways,

I was so pumped when I found out there's Giordano's in Iowa.

In Des moines.

We planned the day to go there for lunch before we watch the IOWA CUBS.

It was the perfect day.

Started off with some Drink!

Calamari for Appetizer.

My mother in-law came too and they picked the appetizer sampler.

It was all so good!

The Appetizers came right away.

The pizza took a little while.

But, it was all worth it!

The deep dish crust is really good on its own way!

Everything on it was so fresh!

You could tell that it was freshly made!

Me and hubby was on Pizza heaven!

The boys had regular crust and they all loved it!

So soo good!!

Perfect day!

Iowa Balloon Festival

We had another fun weekend spent with hubby's Family in Iowa.

Need to enjoy these last days of Summer!

It was so hot when we left Missouri, I'm so glad it was a bit cool in Iowa.

On our first night we went to the County fair to watch the race!

It was a fun night!

I wish we got to finish!

It rained so hard probably few hours before the race ended.

But, we had a great time!

Probably the most intense, entertaining race I've watched so far!

The next day before we go to the Balloon festival we did some errands and

spend some time at my in-laws.

The weather looked great.

I'm so glad it stayed good all day!

We went to our first Balloon Festival.

My husband is from here but trust me,

He doesn't go to these things.

He sees these Balloons fly over their house but thats it.

So I guess he didn't have any choice but to come and take me 

Because of course, I'd like to see it up close! :)

It was such a great time.

It was crowded but when you see all these Balloons fly all at the same time in the Sky you wouldn't worry about other people.

Good thing it was outdoors for safety distance!

Something I've never thought I will see in person!

We stayed for the rest of the night.

Just hangout, enjoy some Fair food and wait for the fireworks.

It was a great night!

So grateful to be here.

Weekend in Iowa.

 

School is officially over.

I'm so happy and so proud of my boys they finished a whole year without

any interruption like last year.

I feel like that the Virus is slowing down a bit..

Thank god to the vaccine. 

Better days are coming.

Anyways, 

Last weekend we visited the In-laws.

It's a nice weekend with Family even though Spring rains is in full swing!

It was still a great time.

The drive was better this time with a better weather.

Nothing much to see but it was still good.

We spend a few nights to see friends and go to a Graduation party. 

It was a good time!

We also got to visit one of my favorite park.

The flowers are on full bloom!

..And new things they added.

The boys loved it.

So in-love with mother in-law's front yard.

So inspiring for me to work on mine!

The next day we drove home.

Good thing it was only a few hours drive.

Plenty time for us to relax the rest of the day.
