Nothing could make it any better.

Perfect with my coffee.

It was a Biscuits and Gravy kind of morning.

When I crave this 

I have to make it right away.

Country Kitchen Restaurants (Warrensburg)

It's been a while!

But we are finally back to have some 

Country Kitchen!

..And it was amazing like always.

This has definitely became our favorite Breakfast Restaurant

ever since we move here.

The service, the quality of the food is just impressive and consistent!

Of course Coffee!

Me and Hubby had their Skillet Breakfast.

Hubby picks the best one like always.

He had the Cordon Bleu Skillet it was so good!

I had the Farm Skillet.

It was good too but Hubby's is better.

Thats much better.

All in all

I will definitely come back again and we highly recommend!

Dave & Buster's KC

My big boy is 11!

For this year we decided to do something different than we usually do.

We usually just throw him a party,

This year we decided to bring him to Dave & Busters.

It was a blast.

Drinks and Dinner first!

This was okay.

Not the best one I had but I had to try!

Appetizer was so good though!

The sauce was so good!

The Birthday Boy!

We had Burgers and it was all amazing!

Hubby had Philly Cheesesteak.

I had a bite and it was so good too!!

After Dinner we headed to play games.

We were there for a few hours and 

The boys had a blast!!!

I did too.

Highly recommend going here for something fun.

Birthday or not!

Malibu Sunset

I think Malibu rum drinks is one of those drinks that I will always crave for

It's so refreshing and so easy to make!

What is yours?

Ingredients

• 4 ounces pineapple juice
• 1 ounce orange juice
• 2 ounces coconut rum we use Malibu
• 1 Tablespoon grenadine
• maraschino cherries, pineapple chunks, and/or orange slices for garnish

Instructions

• Place a few ice cubes in a tall Collins style cocktail glass.
• Then pour the pineapple, orange juice and coconut rum. Stir until combined.
• Slowly drizzle the grenadine down the side of the glass. Do not stir.
• Garnish with maraschino cherries, pineapple chunks and/or orange slices.
• Serve and Enjoy!

Teriyaki Chicken Sandwich

 

Grilling season is here and I'm so excited to cook amazing grilled food together again!

I thought these kind of Sandwich would be amazing and I was right!

The pineapple was a good touch!

Use Boneless Chicken thighs,

It makes a lot of difference!

Ingredients

• 4 chicken breasts
• 1 bottle Teriyaki sauce we used Lawry's brand
• 3/4 c. brown sugar
• 4 slices deli ham
• 1 can sliced pineapple or you can use fresh which would be even better
• 4 slices Pepper Jack cheese
• 4 hamburger buns large 

Instructions

• Pound chicken breasts until they are about 1/4" thick all around.
• Place in a large Ziploc bag. Combine Teriyaki sauce and brown sugar until sugar dissolves. Add 1/2 of the mixture to the bag with the chicken and seal tightly. Place bag in refrigerator for at least 4-5 hours. 

  Separate remaining Teriyaki mixture into 2 separate bowls (to prevent cross contamination use 2 separate brushes too)-- one for the pineapple, one for the chicken. Open pineapple can and save a little of the juice in a bowl.
• Place chicken and pineapple on the grill (medium heat).

  Brush with Teriyaki sauce every few minutes until chicken and pineapple are done-- try to only flip the chicken and pineapple once. Either on the grill or in a frying pan, cook ham with a little of the pineapple juice until it becomes nice and hot.
• Slice open hamburger buns and place a piece of cooked chicken on each bottom bun. Top with cheese, ham, grilled pineapple, and bun top. Serve immediately with remaining grilled pineapple.

Bourbon and Cherry Dr Pepper

 It's been at least a few years since we made this drink!

Finally got to have some again after pregnancy and breastfeeding.

It was refreshing and tasty as ever!

Definitely one of my favorite drink!

It's like the Cherry cola we made before but this time we tried the

Dr pepper one!

So goood!!
