Lemon Drop Mocktail

First Weekend in Germany turned out pretty amazing

Even though we are still adjusting with time, We didn't let that stop us from exploring and

just enjoying every minute.

We planned a Dinner with our friends.

She doesn't really drink so I made a Mocktail.

I love making fun drinks for everyone!

This one was so good!

What you will need

LEMON DROP MOCKTAIL

 

• 2 freshly squeezed lemons

• ¼ cup simple syrup

• ¼ cup tonic water (or sprite), chilled

• Sugar for rim

• Ice

Just mix it all together in a shaker and serve.

So easy!

Feels good to be reunited with my friend again!!

I love it they will be here as long as we are!!

The highlight of the Dinner!

We made our favorite Potato Casserole.

Recipe is from my Mother in law.

Always so good!

Temporary Home (Stenweinden Germany)

 

Adjusting to new time zone was definitely a struggle this time. 

But having a nice place to stay was really good.

This Temporary lodging we are staying is everything and more.

It also comes with Car that we can use for a few weeks.

I guess not having an availability on base was a good thing.

We got to stay off base and be close to a lot of good German stuff.

There is a Doner  Kebab right outside the house,

Which hubby was so excited for!

Everything was so cleaned!

I had to make sure that I kept it clean too

The kitchen got everything we could ever need!

Just love love staying here.

Ahhhhh 

The day is here!

Travel day.

I kept it as comfy as I can be.

Flying with kids is definitely as easy but it is doable.

We have been doing this almost their entire life and my little one is going

to experience it with his big brothers.

I am so excited for him.

We had a lay over at North Carolina Charlotte and the Airport has BOJANGLES!!

I cannot pass it up.

We also had my favorite Blueberry biscuits. 

My fave!!

The flight was okay,

Definitely better than traveling in 2020

That was the last time we travelled by Airplane and we have been avoiding it ever since.

4 years later, here we are..

Going back to Europe!!

More wine and my downloaded shows in Netflix.

I was able to get at least 30 minutes of Sleep.

It will be worth it.

Going Away Lunch

 

Me and hubby went to his Going away lunch with his co workers.

It was nice that Mother in law was in town so we didn't need to bring the Boys.

Sometimes on event like this that they wouldn't really know whats going on

We rather keep them home.

We went to Players Restaurant in Warrensburg.

I would say this was our 3rd time coming here,

And if I had a choice we would have come more.

We love it there!

They have some many options in their Menu

And drinks are good!!

Started off with Calamari!

8/10!!

We planned on getting their Greek Food,

It's just so nice that they have it there.

Hubby had it in pita bread.

..And I had the meal!

I love it!!

It was served with Pita Bread too,

So you can make a bite like this.

I highly recommend guys!

Look at how cool is this.

It makes me so emotional how I am part of it.

We are so excited for Germany!!!

Last day we are seeing our home. 

I am hoping we are able to come back,

At this moment it's still ours and that makes me happy even just a little.

Going to miss this view.

Packing day.

I don't know this feels so stressful when we are not the one who will pack our stuff.

But, 

maybe because all we can do is watch and wait makes it more stressful.
