Prosciutto, Goat Cheese and Fig Jam Crostini



Appetizers like this reminds me of Italy.
Aperitivo time!

Drinks and Appetizers.
I'm so glad I can make these even though we are not in Italy anymore.




Very easy Appetizer to make for parties or whenever you want.

Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • Crostini slices or Baguette cut into slices
  • 1 package of prosciutto, each slice cut into 5 pieces
  • 1 carton of creamy goat cheese
  • 1 jar fig jam
  • 1 cup baby arugula, washed and dried
  • 1/3 cup balsamic cream or vinegar

Directions


  1. Cut Baguette into slices or get the Crostini slices ready. 

  2. Brush the top of each slice with extra virgin olive oil and sprinkle a small pinch of sea salt over the slices.


  3. Spread a thin layer of goat cheese on each piece, followed by a thin layer of fig jam and topped with a piece of prosciutto.

  4. Add 2-3 pieces of baby arugula on top of the prosciutto.

  5. Drizzle a small spoonful of Balsamic cream over the top of each crostini and serve.





I think hubby likes it.
