I love finding recipes that is easy and healthy,
Something like this recipe.
I have been seeing this everywhere online and I'm glad I finally got
to make it.
It's really easy and so delicious!
Stuffed Bell Peppers
Ingredients:
- 3-4 Green or Red bell peppers
- 1-2 Links (8 ounces each) Sausage
- 1 Medium white onion, chopped
- 2 garlic wedges, minced
- 1 Cup brown rice, or white rice
- 1 Cup Cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Preheat oven to 375 F.
- Cut the tops of the peppers and remove all seeds and white stuff.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Stir in onions, garlic and fry about 2 minutes.
- Stir in Sausage, season with salt and pepper and cook the meat until it is no longer pink.
- Stuff the mixture into the hollowed-out peppers. Place stuff peppers onto a baking pan.
- Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes.
- Top with cheddar cheese and bake for additional 5 minutes.
